Once upon a time, on a farm, far away lived a little girl. Precocious & Tenacious, this one. Farm life wasn’t her gig, so she tried her hand at bill collecting. For 7 years she was a successful bill collector, then boredom struck. In her pretty little head she heard a voice “Go West Young WoMan!” Thus she packed her hubby and 2 little girls and ventured down the Oregon Trail. She arrived in Bend, Oregon for a few years & landed at a credit bureau, verifying mortgage credit reports for mortgage brokers. Until…once again, boredom struck.
From thence, she tried her hand at loan processing and how she loved it! Working with people! Helping them put together the pieces of a mortgage puzzle fascinates her! Although, she may have not been at the right place for the time, she gained a vast knowledge of mortgage lending, especially how NOT TO DO mortgage loans! “If the loan officer she worked for could make a living doing things the wrong way, she could surely make a living doing things the RIGHT way!” That tenacity took over & off she was to learn her way in mortgage lending. This new adventure led her to Medford OR and finally to Salem, OR.
After 18 months as the sole mortgage provider for the 37,000 members of MaPS Credit Union, she was intrigued by the opportunities available at Countrywide, working with David Chandler. Eight & a half years, a merger, and a new adventure later, there is no boredom! She still loves helping people and playing the mortgage puzzle, made more challenging w/ ever changing guidelines & home values!
In her free time, she loves date nites with her teenage girls, salmon catching w/ the hubby & NCAA Men’s College Ball—especially Duck Football and Tarheel Roundball! When not ball is not in season, you can often find her curled up on her chaise with her fave pooch, Josephina & a good book.
That grown up little farm girl is still passionate about people and would consider it an honor to assist you through your next purchase or refinance!
David’s take:
If Chevrolet is the HEARTBEAT of America, then Brandi is the heartbeat of the David Chandler Team. I am blessed beyond belief to have her working for us. Originally from Twin Falls, ID she was able to escape after high school and has now found her way to the promised land.
